Powering Change Together

Transforming lives across West Africa with sustainable, community-driven solar solutions

Our Mission

To empower underserved West African communities by funding and catalyzing decentralized, community-driven solar energy projects. We focus on installing and supporting micro-grid and off-grid solar systems in areas with poor electricity access – powering schools, clinics, tech hubs, and entire villages.

Our Vision

A West Africa where every community – from remote villages to university campuses – thrives on clean, reliable solar energy. We envision a future where all people have access to sustainable power to support education, healthcare, and economic development by 2030.

Our Story & Motivation

SunTech Foundation was born from a simple but powerful belief: that sustainable energy access is not just about electricity – it's about dignity, opportunity, and hope.

Founded by a dedicated team of renewable energy engineers, community development specialists, and solar advocates, we witnessed firsthand how darkness doesn't just limit productivity – it limits dreams. When children can't study after sunset, when clinics can't refrigerate vaccines, when small businesses close with the sun, entire communities are held back.

Our motivation comes from seeing the transformation that happens when reliable solar power arrives in a community. We've watched students extend their study hours by 1,000 hours annually, seen local economies flourish with 20+ new jobs per project, and witnessed families save millions in energy costs while breathing cleaner air.

We're not just installing solar panels – we're catalyzing community resilience, educational empowerment, and economic sovereignty across West Africa.
